Warrant Officer Guard and Reserve Pay The below chart depicts the monthly pay received by members of the National Guard and Reserves for 2007. In addition to one weekend of drill per month, members of the Reserves must perform a minimum of 14 days of active duty training per year. Members of the National Guard are required to perform 15 days of training per year. Note: Guard/Reserve members are normally credited with 4 days pay for a weekend duty. The below chart shows the monthy base pay, based upon the normal requirements of one weekend per month. When performing active duty other than weekend drills, Guard/Reserve members receive 1/30th of monthly active duty pay for each day served on active duty. The chart below includes a 2.2 percent pay raise, which was effective on January 1, 2007. Military base pay is based upon grade (rank) and years of service:
