To implement the provisions of reference (a), disseminate policy, and assign responsibility for the Marine Corps EFMP. The primary purpose of the Marine Corps EFMP is to assess, document, and code the special medical and educational needs of eligible Marine Corps family members. By identifying families with special needs and maximizing the provision of quality services needed, the quality of life provided to the Marine Corps family is enhanced while meeting the mission of the Marine Corps.
