This regulation updates policy and responsibilities on Department of Defense (DOD) Enlistment, Student, In-Service and Overseas Testing Programs, for the Active and Reserve Components of the Military Services. It implements Department of Defense Directive 1304.12, DOD Military Personnel Accession Testing Programs, governing use of a common aptitude test, the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
