MOS 9952, SCUBA/UBA Marine (Officer)

a. Summary. SCUBA Marine officers are officers that are trained, equipped, and able to utilize SCUBA equipment. This title and MOS will also be used to identify Marine officer billets in T/Os.

b. Requirements/Prerequisites

(1) Complete the Navy SCUBA Diver Course at either Coronado, CA; Pearl Harbor, HI; Panama City, FL; the Army Special Forces Underwater Operations Course at Key west, FL or other approved SCUBA "A" diver course.

(2) Must maintain physical fitness standards specified by COMHAVMEDCOM.

c. Duties. Utilizes SCUBA equipment to conduct underwater entry into the objective area to accomplish missions appropriate to billet assigned.

(1) SCUBA Diver 379.384-010.

(2) Diver 899.261-010.
