Summary. The MCSF cadre trainer will be assigned to selected Naval installation's security departments to provide expertise in marksmanship/antiterrorism training. The cadre will be a graduate of the Marine Corps Security Force Cadre Trainers Course and must possess good teaching skills. Their primary duty will be to train the installation's Navy Security Force (NSF) and Auxiliary Security Force (ASF). A secondary duty will be to assist the Deputy Security Officer in the preparation of the base defense plan and other security plans to include planning and monitoring exercises. The cadre must be knowledgeable concerning the following subjects: small arms training, use of force, physical training, unarmed combat, search techniques, terrorism awareness, weapons handling and employment, and any other security related topic required in applicable directives.

Requirements/Prerequisites

(1) Must meet the prerequisites prescribed in MCO 1300.20, MCO 5510.7, MCO 5521.3, and MCO 6100.3.

(2) Complete the Marine Corps Security Force Cadre Trainers Course.

(3) To be used only as a billet designator in Marine Corps Security Force T/O's.
