| MOS 6241, Fixed-Wing Aircraft Flight Engineer, KC-130- Trainee | |||||||||||||||||||
Summary. Fixed-Wing aircraft flight engineers, KC-130 trainees under instruction or close supervision, train for qualification as a fixed-wing aircraft flight engineer, KC-130 and perform routine duties incident to servicing, cargo loading, flight planning, monitoring of systems, controls and instruments, and air-to-air refueling operations. Requirements/Prerequisites (1) Must be qualified in MOS 6232. (2) Must possess a secret security clearance. (3) Four years of obligated service upon assignment of MOS 6241. (4) Complete VMGRT-253 FREST CRS M-050-0418 (Flight Engineer Ground School). (5) Complete VMGRT-253 FRS flight training requirements as specified in the appropriate NATOPS Manual and outlined in MCO P3500.14, and MCO P3500.15, Aviation Training and Readiness (T&R) Manuals Duties.
