Summary. Fabric repair specialists supervise and perform the fabrication and repair of canvas and textile equipment. Some of the equipment the specialists may be called upon to repair or fabricate includes the interior of motor vehicles, tarpaulins, gun and instrument covers, and cartridge belts. Fabric repair specialists may perform or supervise the alteration and repair of clothing.

Requirements/Prerequisites

(1) MM score of 85 or higher.

(2) Complete the Fabric Repair Specialist Course, U.S Army Quartermaster School, Ft. Lee, VA.

(3) Must have normal color vision.

(4) Meet the physical requirements of TM 11275-15/4.
