This Directive: 1. Reissues and updates reference (a). 2. Authorizes publication of DoD 5505.1-M, "DoD Criminal Investigation Policy and Procedures Manual," (reference (b)) consistent with DoD 5025.1-M (reference (c)), to provide expanded guidance on investigative policies and procedures under Public Law 95-452 (reference (d)) and DoD Directive 5106.1 (reference (e)).
