This Directive implements Title 5, United States Code, Sections 3326, 5303, and 5532, and Federal Personnel Manual Bulletin No. 300-49, "Issuance of Interim Regulations on Decentralization of Personnel Authorities," March 21, 1979. Provides policy and guidance on the employment of retired members of the Armed Forces.
