This Instruction implements policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for the establishment and operation of elected school boards for schools operated by the Department of Defense under references Section 2164 of title 10, U.S.C., as added by Section 351(a) of Public Law 103-337, "The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1995," October 5, 1994 and DoD Directive 1342.21, October 13, 1992.
