This Instruction implements policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures, under the authority of DoD Directive 1332.18, November 4, 1996, for rating disabilities of Service members determined to be physically unfit and who are eligible for disability separation or retirement under Title 10, United States Code.
