This Instruction implements Title 10, United States Code, Chapter 155, Subsection 2606, "Scouting: Cooperation and Assistance in Foreign Areas," and establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for qualified scouting organizations operating on U.S. military installations overseas, distinguishing DoD policy on fiscal logistical support to those organizations from that provided in DoD Instruction 1000.15, "Private Organizations on DoD Installations," September 22, 1978 and DoD Directive 1015.6, "Funding of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Programs," August 3, 1984.

Note: This Regulation is available in both PDF File Format and ASCII Format. While ASCII will load faster, it will not contain tables and photos which may be available in the original document. If you choose the PDF Format, you must first download and install the FREE PDF Viewer Program from Adobe Software.
