This Directive established policy and assigns responsibility under Section 113 of Title 10, United States Code for the issuance of ID cards to members of the Uniformed Services of the United States, their eligible dependents, and other eligible individuals prescribed in DoD Instruction 1000.13, "Identification Cards for Members of the Uniformed Services, their Dependents, and Other Eligible Individuals," December 5, 1997.
