Halifax, Nova Scotia, Sept. 30, 1999 — The aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) drops anchor in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, after completing nine days of carrier qualifications (CQs) off the coast of Virginia.
