Duties: Manages EW/I equipment maintenance activities at organizational, direct support, and general support levels. Manages the EW/I maintenance training program, the prescribed load list, repair parts stockpile levels, and the essential repair parts stockage list (ERPSL). Manages and supervises maintenance and supply personnel. Manages the Equipment Improvement Report (EIR) Program and Quality Assurance (QA) Program. Monitors the modification work order program and ensures the wok is completed. Monitors maintenance requests and the maintenance request register. Monitors supply/parts requisitions and the document register. Monitors historical records as required. Assists in the preparation of/or prepares the material readiness report. Acts as the contracting officer representative (COR) or assistant contracting officer representative (ACOR). May be assigned as a platoon leader, maintenance facility officer-in-charge (OIC) or detachment OIC/commander for general support maintenance detachment activities.


Minimum prerequisites:

  • Be a SGT (E5) or above
  • Have a minimum of four years operational experience in any CMF 33 MOS in at least two assignments
  • Have successfully completed course 102-33S10 EW/Intercept Systems Repair
  • Be a BNCOC graduate
  • Have a current Special Background Investigation (SBI) or Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
  • Be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

Preferred qualifications (Minimum plus):

  • Be at least a SGT(P)/E5(P) or above
  • Have a minimum of 3 NCOERs with one in a leadership position
  • Provide a written recommendation from a senior Intelligence/Electronic Warfare Equipment Technician who has direct knowledge of the applicant's technical ability
  • Possess an Associate Degree from an accredited college or university
