Duties: Develops UAV requirements and identifies appropriate payloads to satisfy collection requirements. Coordinates airspace requirements and acts as the Army liaison for all UAV missions. Articulates requirements for UAV collection and integrates UAV into collection strategies. Assists All-Source and Imagery Analysts with analysis of UAV data to satisfy priority intelligence requirements. Provides information to cue other collection assests and assist targeting by coordination re-tasking of the UAV. Supervises UAV standardization and safety programs IAW all applicable guidance. Advisor and Subject Matter Expert for all UAV related issues.

Minimum prerequisites:

  • Be a SGT (E5) or above
  • Be a BNCOC graduate
  • Hold MOS 96U
  • Have a minimum of four years operational experience in MOS 96U and have successfully completed course 243-96U10
  • Have a Special Background Investigation (SBI) or a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), Applicants for MOS 350U who do not possess a Top Secret Clearance with SCI Access must submit a request for a TS/SCI through their security office prior to submitting an application. A verification memorandum from the security office stating the request has been submitted and the date it was submitted must be part of the packet"
  • Be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) prior to graduation from the 350U track certification phase.

Preferred qualifications (Minimum plus):

  • Have a minimum of 3 NCOERs with one in a leadership position
  • Provide a written recommendation from a senior Military Intelligence Technician who has direct knowledge of applicants technical ability
  • Possess an Associate Degree from an accredited college or university
