D Civil Affairs Operations
a. Description of positions. Identifies positions that require the
as signment of soliders qualified to assist in planning, directing, and coor
dinating activities pertaining to one or more of the following Civil Af fairs
functional specialties: Civil Defense, Labor, Legal, Public Admin istration,
Public Welfare, Civilian Supply, Economics and Commerce, Food and Agriculture,
Property Control, Public Communications, Transportation, Public Works and Utilities,
Arts/Monuments and Ar chives, Civil Information, Cultural Affairs, and Dislocated
Civilians.
b. Qualifications. Must successfully complete the two week Civil Af
tairs Operations Course at JFK Special Warfare Center and School.
c. Restrictions. No restriction for Active Component. Reserve Com ponent attainment restricted to soldiers assigned to USAR Civil Affairs Troop Program Units in any CMF 51 MOS and MOSs 54B, 71G. 76J, 91B, 91E, 91S, 91T, 95B, and 96B.
