Basic Training Operating Instructions
NBC Chamber
1. Privates will not wear contact lenses to the NBC Chamber. They do, however, need to shave.
2. Drill Sergeants will ensure that privates have a good fit on their masks.
3. If privates come out the wrong door of the chamber, they get back in at the FRONT of the line.
4. Cycle book photographers will be present.
5. Privates on crutches can go through the chamber. Only privates with a "No Gas Chamber" profile will not go through the chamber.
6. This training is MANDATORY.
Note: These Operating Instructions were derived from a set of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for a United States Army Infantry Basic Training Battalion. While SOPs might differ somewhat from batallion to batallion, it should give a basic idea of the instructions that Drill Sergeants and basic training staff members operate under.
