This instruction applies to everyone in the Regular Air Force, US Air Force Reserve (USAFR) (includes Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) and Individual Ready Reserve (IRR)), and Air National Guard (ANG). It carries out Air Force Policy Directive 36-29, Military Standards.
