It implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 36-29, Military Standards, Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 1344.3, Paternity Claims and Adoption Proceedings Involving Members and Former Members of the Armed Forces, February 1, 1978, with Change 1 and DoDD 1344.9, Indebtedness of Military Personnel, October 27, 1994 and DoD Instruction (DoDI) 1344.12, Indebtedness Processing Procedures for Military Personnel, November 18, 1994, with Changes 1 and 2.
