U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagle touches down at Azraq Air Base, Jordan.

A U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagle touches down at Azraq Air Base, Jordan, on April 12, 1996. The aircraft is one of 34 jets in a U.S. Air Force Air Power Expeditionary Force which will operate out of Jordan. The Expeditionary Force will provide additional land-based air forces to augment regional assets. The deployment will also give the Air Force an opportunity to work and train with coalition partners in the region. The deployment should be completed near the end of June 1996. The Eagle is deployed from the 94th Fighter Squadron, Langley Air Force Base, Va.
