This information sheet is being provided to all 9S100s in the interest of increasing communication and understanding in the 9S100 Career Field. Some of the information like education is just nice to know. Other information like where 9S100s are currently assigned is provided to help everyone plan their future assignments and careers.

Education

The latest figures show that 202 out of 395 9S100s have completed 15-89 semester hours as their highest level of education. This is 51.1% of our career field, clearly our largest educational demographic. (Unknown reason for dif in manning numbers-most likely delay in system updates)

Above that, 11 people have completed over 90 semester hours (2.8% of our career field), yet they do not have their CCAF completed. Supervisors, please talk to your people, and maybe yourself, to see if some of these people can complete their CCAF. With all of the credits that the average 9S100 earns, this should be an easy one for most 9S100s to complete.

120 people have earned an associate degree as their highest level of education. This is almost a third of our force at 30.4%, our second largest educational demographic.

34 have secured their baccalaureate (8.6%).

5 have master's degrees (1.3%).

The rest, 23, have their high school diploma (5.8%). This number must be technical school students.

Assignments

Initial Assignments (from technical School) are almost always to Patrick AFB FL, Wright-Patterson AFB OH, Buckley AFB CO, or Lackland AFB TX. Please remember to update your assignment preference listings in the Assignment Management System (found on the AFPC Home Page). We have had several instances recently where personnel have been chosen for assignments or missed out on assignments due to incorrect or outdated information. You are responsible for making sure that this information is updated and correct. Again, please keep it current.
