Air Force Composite Score Conversions
General Aptitude (G-Score)

The Air Force General Aptitude Score derives from two areas of the ASVAB: Arithmetic Reasoning (AR) and and Verbal Expression (VE).

To determine your Air Force General Composite score, first you must compute your Verbal Expression (VE) score.

VE = Scaled Score of Word Knowledge (WK) + Paragraph Comprehension (PC). To get the scaled score, add your WK & PC score together, then use the below chart:

WK+PC VE WK+PC VE
0-3 20 28-29 42
4-5 21 30-31 44
6-7 22 32-33 45
8-9 22 34-35 47
10-11 25 36-37 49
12-13 27 38-39 50
14-15 29 40-41 52
16-17 31 42-43 54
18-19 32 44-45 56
20-21 34 46-47 58
22-23 36 48-49 60
24-25 38 50 62
26-27 40

Once you've computed your VE Score, add it to your your Arithmetic Reasoning raw score [AR+VE]. Then, compare the results to the below chart.
