You're in the Pit, arms high over your head, holding your bag up, while you run in place. Sergeant Bellows is supervising, yelling "encouragement."

"Faster you lazy asses! You run like girls! Move it! Get them God Darn legs up high!"

Through the ringing in your ears, you can also hear Staff Sergeant Fear yelling at the other recruits about their slow, dismal performance in getting up the stairs.

You cast a quick glance at the recruit running next to you. You think it's the big kid you had trouble with at the beginning. Wow! Already the beginning feels like two months ago.

Well, there's a little bit of justice in the World, in any case. But, you just can't understand why you're there next to him. Nothing's going the way you thought it would. Day one and you're already on the crap-list. Your arms are getting really tired. You don't know how much more of this you can take. It's getting harder and harder to hold your bag up.

You:

Bend your elbows to take the strain off of your arms

Try Harder to Keep Your Arms Up

Return to Beginning (Part I)

Welcome to Boot Camp Challenge

Boot Camp Challenge is an interactive, on-going adventure, starring our hero (Private G. I. Joe), who (with your help) is trying to make it through military boot camp. If you haven't started at the beginning, here's your chance to do so.
