How to Locate Marines

Know someone in the U.S. Marine Corps, but don't know where they are? Here's how you can find them:

1. You'll need to know the Marine's full name.
2. For Marines with common last names, a social security number may be necessary.
3. Call the Marine Locator Service at 703-784-3942. Their hours are 8 AM to 4 PM (EST) Mondays - Fridays

Tips:

1. If you know what base the Marine is stationed at, you can often get their phone number by calling the "locator" on that Base. Telephone Information can connect you to the base operator.
2. The Marine Locator cannot assist with locating former Marines
