How to Locate Coast Guard Members
Know someone in the U.S. Coast Guard, but don't know where they are? Here's how you can find them:

Here's How:
- You will need the member's full name.
- For members with common last names, you may need the social security number.
- Call the Coast Guard World Wide Locator Service at: (202 267 - 1340.
- You can also request via Email to: csutton@comdt.uscg.mil
- Written requests may be sent to: Coast Guard Personnel
Command (CGPC - adm-3), 2100 Second St, SW, Washington, DC 20593-0001.
Tips:
- The Coast Guard Locator cannot assist with locating retired or separated personnel.
- If you know what base the member is stationed at, you
can often get their phone number by calling the "locator" on that Base. Telephone Information can connect
you to the base operator.
