- You'll need to know the Marine's full name.
- For Marines with common last names, a social security number may be necessary.
- Call the Marine Locator Service at 703-784-3942. Their hours are 8 AM to 4 PM (EST) Mondays - Fridays.
- Written Requests can be mailed to:
- Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Personnel Management Support Branch (MMSB-17), 2008 Elliot Rd, Quantico, VA 22134-5030.
Tips:
- If you know what base the Marine is stationed at, you can often get their phone number by calling the "locator" on that Base. Telephone Information can connect you to the base operator.
- The Marine Locator cannot assist with locating former Marines.
