Question: How much does the G.I. Bill Pay for education?
Answer: It depends on when you use it, and how many courses you are taking at one time. When used while on active duty, the G.I. Bill simply pays for the cost of tuition and fees for the course. When used after completing active duty, monthly payments are based on whether one is a full-time student, or a part-time student. For details about the Montgomery G.I. Bill, see our Information Article about the Active Duty Montgomery GI Bill.
