Air Force Releases TSgt & MSgt Promotion Rates

Air Force officials selected 5,404 of 24,223 eligible technical sergeants for promotion to master sergeant, and 7,110 of 38,324 eligible staff sergeants for promotion to technical sergeant in a list that will be released June 26. The master sergeant selection rate, 22.31 percent, decreased 2.58 percent from last year, while the technical sergeant selection rate, 18.55 percent, increased .17 percent from 2007.
