The commadant of the Marine Corps (CMC) has directed that all marines, officer and enlisted, released from active duty with an honorable discharge will recive a letter of appreciation signed by the CMC himself. The letter of appreciation is in recognition of their service. Honorably separated Marines will also recieve a round display sticker with the Eagle, Globe and Anchor in the middle encircled by the words, "United States Marine Corps" above and "I served honorably" below. Eligibility for the CMC personal letter and sticker applies to all Marines in the total force, regardless of rank, component code, or length of service in the Corps.
