Army Testing Intensified Basic Training

Recruits "lucky" enough to attend Army Basic Training at Fort Benning, GA, will be part of an Army test which intensifies the current basic training schedule. Depending on which test group they are selected for, training in the field will increase from the current three days to either 10 days or 23 days. The length of basic training, however, is not changing.
