I am looking for some one that was a menber of the old US Army Personnel Command, HHC. that may have a picture of the unit guidon. I was a menber of the unit in the late 1998, I am putting together guidon of all the units I serve in, or can you tell me how to fine one.

Richard, I’m sure Rod has more specific guidance on your situation. However, you may find some answers by contacting St Louis. Once you have located your records in the “retired bin” and have forwarded them to your branch manager (I’m guessing MSC), you may be able to proceed. It certainly can’t hurt to tie in your requesting unit command on this process. Perhaps they may have some suggestions which would help in sidesteping the usual organizational land mines.

During my last overseas tour, I encountered a number of docs recalled from retirement…some in-theater, some at Landsthul (I probably did no justice in the spelling). If they saw fit to pull ole commo guys, in their Medicare years, back in uniform, I’d pick up my rifle in a heart beat! Good luck, Doc.
